The first card I made was for mother’s day 2011 when we had our first “craft day”. My addiction with scrapbooking had just started and found out that a couple of my girlfriends also shared the same addiction. So we gathered for the first time at my place to put together our creativity for the upcoming mother’s day.
How can you not be making mother’s day card when it was just around the corner right? We had the longest craft session we ever had… finishing at 1am on a friday night!
We were so productive that we made 7 cards altogether and since then I have started making cards for friends in addition to scrapbooking and other DIYs. It’s a lot quicker than scrapbooking a page, very handy when it comes to soothing my craving for some DIY, stopping the twitch in my fingers or when my stamps are staring at me from the bookshelf…
Since the first session, we started gathering once a month to create, scrap, cut, stick, emboss and stamp while we gossip.Had such an amazing time and can’t believe we havev been gathering for more than a year now!
Yah and you’re the best host for craft day, thanks for sharing your craft goodies and the Sizzix Big Shot machine! Can’t wait till our next craft day 🙂
